From the Board: Reflecting on the 2025 NAAIA Conference – Vision Forward

The 2025 NAAIA National Conference in Philadelphia was nothing short of electric. From the very first day, the energy was high—and so were the expectations. Philly rolled out the red carpet with stunning city sights and authentic cheesesteaks for what we can only describe as an unforgettable experience.

This year’s theme, "Vision Forward," reminded us why we show up. As the insurance industry evolves with rapid technological change and social complexity, it’s more important than ever to center ourselves in purpose, progress, and people. The entire conference was charged with meaningful conversations around leadership and responsibility led by some of the brightest minds across our industry. The sessions called us to lead from a place of integrity, courage, and clarity—even when it’s uncomfortable. It was a challenge to not only step up, but to stay grounded in our values while navigating a rapidly shifting world.

We were proud to have 22 Central Virginia chapter members in attendance, including 7 emerging leaders. Seeing everyone lean into their growth, network with intention, and invest in their development was a powerful reminder: We are both the future of our industry and the living legacy of this industry.

And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, NAAIA Central VA was honored as the 2025 Chapter of the Year! This win belongs to all of us—and it fuels our momentum for what’s ahead.

We left Philadelphia inspired, united, and more committed than ever to the journey. The time is truly now, and Central Virginia is ready to go.
